With pride as a leader in the development of footwear materials, Buwon’s research institute affiliated with world-renowned brands such as NIKE and Adidas, has been involved in the development of new materials. We are providing solutions for footwear materials with state-of-the-art technology and the latest equipment.

Since 1995, we have provided EVA and rubber masterbatch and compound material for Nike, Adidas, Reebok and New Balance.

Buwon’s technical team has consistently been challenged to develop new technologies as required by customers. We have contributed to enhancing the chemical technology of shoe soles through the development of new materials.
As brands now focus on reducing the environmental impact of footwear production, Buwon has recently developed sustainable alternatives to existing chemicals used in footwear manufacturing.

Buwon’s technical research institute has more than 50 professional technical staff members in an attempt to develop the branded footwear technology with new shoe material and become the leading footwear supplier through superior technological advantage.

History

2005: Laboratory was established.

2009: Certified NIKE CMP MCS

2010: Certified NIKE CMP, IP MCS

2014: Certified SKECHERS MS-10 SPEC properties

2015: The laboratory has been moved (from Amata industrial park to Trang Bom industrial park)

2016~2018: Supply approval ADIDAS CLOUD FOAM- BTS SERIES
(BTS 2845, BTS2200, BTS2855)

2019: Constructed Supercritical Expansion Pilot Line

2020~2021: Supply Approval for crosslinking accelerator
(DCP, BIBP, TAIC MB); Low amonia blowing agent(Cellcom JTR/BW) from NIKE

2022: Participated “ NIKE Sustainable Project”; Being in the process of getting approval for development of eco-friendly MB
